My client is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on some of the latest network technologies. They are a world class company offering the usual benefits associated with a leading edge organisation.

Person Specification:

Essential
Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering or electronics (or similar)
Commercial software experience: 1 - 2 Years
C and/or C++ programming
Understanding of IP Networking
Communication Skills - an ability to communicate ideas to others with ease
A keen interest to learn and develop within an organisation
Team worker

Desirable
Commercial software experience: 3- 5 Years
C and/or C++ programming with a data/telecoms bias
Embedded software development
Java programming skills
Linux
An ability to assess design task, complexity and risk
Detailed understanding of development tools, design methods and software design process
