Electronics Group Leader
Our Client is a rapidly expanding innovation company, developing a new area of electronics. They are currently looking for an Electronics Group Leader to ensure that the companys product development requirements are satisfied within budgeted resource and time constraints.
Key deliverables
•Leading & developing the Electronics team. This is a hands-on role and will involve performing detailed technical design/development activities alongside team leadership
•To work closely with the Hardware & Software Architects, Manufacturing & User Experience teams to deliver the hardware platform for our products
•Manage the hardware team through the development of hardware solutions from prototypes through to high volume production
•Documents & presents results for peer review
The ideal candidate will
•Hold an electronics engineering or similar degree & have at least 7 years post graduate industrial experience developing electronics for consumer applications
•Have developed microprocessor, FPGA and PSU circuits for volume manufacturing
•Have Created firmware, for microcontrollers and FPGAs using C & Verilog
•Demonstrate successful leadership, management, and development of a small team of high quality engineers and technicians.
•Have experience of hardware development processes and quality systems.
•Relate well to an exceptional peer group, be tolerant of ambiguity; be able to work to tight deadlines, and display flexibility and resilience.
