Our client is a long-established manufacturer of medical equipment and has grown to become a highly successful UK market leader in their field. In terms of quality, reliability and reputation, their medical equipment range is recognised internationally as second to none, and is the result of many years experience and considerable in-house expertise from a dedicated workforce.
They are now looking for a Development Engineer Electronics to be responsible for all aspects of electronic design and development encompassing:
•Careful planning of electronic projects including the generation of system requirements, module and interface specifications, and the formation of their respective test protocols
•Systems analysis, electronic design, and regular review against the specifications
•Co-ordinating testing including module, integration and systems testing
Candidates will have a clear record of successful hands on product development in relevant fields and will be able to demonstrate proven ability to execute projects effectively. Some essential experience for the role includes:
•RF power supply development
•High voltage isolation techniques
•Analogue/Digital circuit design for measurement applications
•Digital signal processing
•Display driver development
A positive and proactive approach is required for dealing with changing requirements, as is an ability to communicate information clearly and accurately both internally and externally at all levels in order to review progress and future requirements. Knowledge of systems integration in development projects and good analytical skills are required and an in depth understanding of risk management systems and development within a regulatory system would be a distinct advantage.
