Electro/Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the specialist capital equipment market and is currently looking to add to its progressive engineering team with a talented and experienced Design Engineer. Operating worldwide this company has an enviable reputation for excellence with its electro-mechanical products.
Role & Responsibilities:
•Responsible for aspects of both conceptual and modificational design
•Working within a multi-disciplined project team
•Carrying out design calculations and related feasibility studies
•Liaison with customers, management and internal departments
•Possibility of foreign travel to customer sites
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
•Electrical and mechanical design knowledge
•Experience using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
•Familiarity with capital equipment design
•Understanding of PLC control systems and high voltage electrics is advantageous
