Our client requires a qualified Electrician to work on a day shift pattern (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm)The successful candidate also being part of a call out rota and any commercial or industrial experience would be an advantage.
The day to day duties of this position will include;
Facilities maintenance
Production equipment maintenance
Plant machine & equipment maintenance
Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes
PAT testing
Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid state equipment
Our client is looking for a qualified electrician who has experience in one or more of the above areas.
The jobholder will have ideally served a recognised apprenticeship and will be at least qualified to C&G standards. As a minimum our client is looking for somebody with a mathematics GCSE or equivalent, a certificate BS 7671 Wiring Regulations or C & G 2381 or the 16th Edition. (Preferably hold PAT testing (C & G 2377) and BS 7671 Testing (C & G 2391))

The position also attracts a contributory pension scheme that varies dependent on salary (between 5% to 7.5% of pensionable salary)
Annual leave entitlement is 27 working days. In addition to the normal bank holidays we also receive 2 privilege days which staff elect to take at Christmas.
