Description
Experienced Design Engineer / Draughtsperson required to execute the successful electrical and mechanical design for a prestigious international engineering group.
Salary & Location: £25-28k + 25 days Holiday + Company Car. South West, Wiltshire, Chippenham, Swindon, Bath, Chipping Sodbury, Melksham, Calne, Corsham.
The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be responsible for the successful design of both electrical and mechanical components for this major machinery manufacturer. Working with the product design team you will conduct the design of wiring harnesses as well as the detailed draughting of components from 3D to 2D ready for the prototype manufacture. As a skilled and meticulous engineer you will also support the machines once they go into production, helping the production and procurement team on the redesign and costings of machines. This role would ideally be suited to an engineer looking for a technically satisfying role within a secure multinational organisation.
The Candidate:
"3 years minimum in a design engineering role
"2D AutoCAD
"3D design using either Inventor or Solidworks
"electrical and mechanical design experience
"Ideally educated to HNC standard, although all candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the role.
