Description
The Company:
Specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke semi conductor processing machines they are market leaders in their field. Supplying to both Universities and research and development facilities they are experiencing a period of sustained growth. A forward thinking organisation, our clients are looking to expand their export market and have recently won contracts in the middle east and south east Asia. Due to their continued expansion they are currently looking to recruit a service engineer to join their busy team.
The Skills Required:
Successful candidates will either have experience in electrical or mechanical design and have used a 3D design package. Experience using Solidworks or of programming PLCs will be looked upon favourably, although all candidates with relevant experience will be considered for the position. This role would ideally be suited to candidates looking to technically progress and develop into the senior technical person in the design department.
The Role:
Within the remit of the role you will work on both redesigning older systems as well as conceptual design. As a skilled and conscientious engineer you will liaise with customers regarding their requirements, assess the correct componentary for each machine and design the complete systems by analyzing how these various parts will fit together. As you develop as an engineer you will take on more responsibility and will oversee the build of each machine in the workshop.
