Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer (6 month fixed term contract)

This Internationally renowned manufacturing provide who supply to countries Worldwide are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with Project engineering experience to provide planned maintenance, continuous improvement and working alone at times on a variety of project throughout this highly automated site for a minimum of 6 months.

PROFILE
This Internationally renowned manufacturing provide who supply to countries Worldwide are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with Project engineering experience to provide planned maintenance, continuous improvement and working alone at times on a variety of project throughout this highly automated site for a minimum of 6 months.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be apprentice trained preferably electrical and be qualified to City & Guilds as a minimum.
Candidates must have experience within manufacturing ideally steel or chemical processes.
DUTIES:
Providing mainly planned maintenance and improvements, candidates will also cover breakdowns if required, on all machines and processes in a highly specialised part of the plant electrolytic plating machines, rectifying machines, hydraulics, motion drive systems, gearboxes, motors, large dryers, finishing machines (a large disc spinning in a tank which acts like a washing machine for the blank coins) and a small number of lifting conveyors.
Ancillary equipment such as filtration units and water pumps will also be monitored; PLC fault finding experience is NOT necessary but is an advantage.
SALARY / Shift:
•Hours: 6am-2-10-6am
•Salary £26,688 + overtime
