Our client requires a skilled Electrical Technician to provide facilities, plant and production maintenance on a rotating shift pattern. Duties include; inspection, testing, PPM, Reactive maintenance and modifications of plant and facilities equipment.
The successful candidate will be required;
To carry out inspections, testing, planned maintenance, and modifications of systems, plant, equipment and buildings.
To carry out electrical engineering work as instructed and defined by the Team Leader and Building Services Technician.
To carry out testing and make adjustments to electrical installations and systems in compliance with recognised Codes of Practice.
To investigate, diagnose and rectify faults on electrical distribution systems, plant and equipment.
To start up, run, monitor the operation and shut down of service plant, equipment and systems.
To install or assist in the installation and repair of electrical plant and distribution services, including but not restricted to cables, cabling systems, motors, starters, distribution boards, switchgear and transformers.
To install new equipment and to relocate existing equipment throughout the site, including the loading and transportation of equipment.
To record in writing or by the use of computers, various information such as work done, time taken, material used, etc.
To attend technical seminars and training courses as appropriate.
Shift hours -3 earlies 06:00 am-2:00 pm
3 lates 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm
