ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
NUCLEAR FUSION
BASED OXFORDSHIRE
At the forefront of research into nuclear fusion with its exciting potential as a long term, environmentally friendly energy source for future generations, excellent opportunities now exist for Electrical Engineers to join them at their site in Oxfordshire. Operating Europes flagship fusion experiment and other research facilities, these will support the next generation of fusion machines.
As an Electrical Technician you will be responsible for supervising a small electrical workshop in a safe and efficient manner, including a number of contract electricians, complying with safety procedures and risk assessment. You will also undertake minor electrical projects, to design, build and install using both contract staff and in a hands-on role. The successful candidate will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or demonstrated a good base training, and hold C&G, ONC or HNC and 16th edition, together with appropriate experience.
