Our client requires an Electrical Technician to manage all day to day functions in production areas and utility engineering.
Main duties will include preventative maintenance, electrical breakdowns, design and construction of electrical parts with drawing reference where required, and assisting the other technicians/Fitters.
All duties will need to be conducted in a timely manner in accordance with 'Good Manufacturing Practice'. Safe working practices also need to be adhered to at all times and candidates will be expected to meet objectives in line with business needs.
Candidates will also be using the computerised planned maintenance to obtain individual work schedules and will be required to enter the data before and after assigned jobs.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Assisting production in reaching the agreed plan
* Recommending and implementing improvements relevant to Encapsulation Manufacturing
* Achieving agreed objectives
* Working as part of a cohesive engineering team
Suitable candidates will have a City & Guilds/BTEC in a suitable electrical discipline and also possess the 16th Edition qualification and PAT testing certificate. They will also need to be innovative, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team as well as being a good communicator.
Working hours are flexible and will need to be completed between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
