ELECTRICAL PLANT ENGINEER
£34,000 - £40,000 Plus Pension, Healthcare, Life Assurance (Days Role)
A challenging and demanding managerial role has arisen at our prestigious clients Birmingham plant. As a leading manufacturer of special metals you will strive for a world class maintenance system and zero downtime situation.
Role Description
Working to targets to reduce plant repair costs through engineering out repetitive failures you will endeavour to improve the plants maintenance system. Evaluating areas of improvement and recommending electrical systems such as PLC's and HMI's.
Required Experience
In this role you will aspire to rise to a works or chief engineer position where you would be managing 20 maintenance engineers. In the shorter term you will need the ability to assess maintenance systems and therefore an understanding of area's of electrical maintenance such as PLC's and HV systems. The ability to organise and supervise improvement teams and sub contract labour is paramount.
Benefits Package
Our client is offering a competitive salary of between £34,000 and £40,000 dependent upon experience. Also offered in this days based role is a contributory pension, healthcare and life assurance. The role offers progression to higher levels of management whilst also being technically challenging.
