Electrical Maintenance Engineering Supervisor / Electrical Supervisor (NO NIGHTS!!)

Leading local FMCG manufacturer, who are part of one of the largest manufacturing groups in the world is offering an excellent opportunity for an Engineering/ Shift Supervisor / Engineering team leader, with production / manufacturing experience within either FMCG /Factory experience to supervise a small team of engineers.
Qualifications:
-Must be apprentice trained (preferably electrical)
-Qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds within a related Engineering Subject
-Proven record of supervising a small / medium team
Duties:
-Reporting to the Site engineering Manager you will supervise a team of 5, (3 qualified engineers and 2 semi-skilled machine operators) to make sure all PLC controlled chilled food production equipment such as conveyor systems, flow and shrink wrapping machines, cartoning machines, metal detectors, are regularly maintained.
-Responsible for PPM scheduling / staff scheduling / allocation of work throughout the shift, this is a hands on role with approximately 55% of the time on the tools, SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IS NOT ESSENTIAL (but you must be a very strong engineer).
- Candidates must have 3 phase experience, and be able to PLC fault find and follow ladder logic diagrams.
-Liaising with production engineering and other departments to continuously improve quality of work throughout the site.

Shift 2 shift system; 6Aam 3pm -12pm
Salary £28,000 + life assurance + pension etc
