ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER/SHIFT ENGINEER
Our client is one of the leading food manufacturers in the UK and provides its products to the leading supermarkets and wholesalers within the UK is looking for a Electrically biased maintenance engineer to join their Engineering Department They are committed to equal opportunities in all areas of their business, with employees gaining promotion on merit.
QUALIFICATION
Candidates must have a Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
THE ROLE
To ensure effective, efficient and timely response to plant breakdowns with respect to site maintenance issues. Also to ensure that maintenance schedule and calibrations are completed on time and in full as per the site requirements.
You will work as part of a team. The position involves fault finding, trouble shooting, fixing, replacing parts and other maintenance based activities.
A typical day might include:
Maintaining and developing the factory equipment
Reacting to breakdowns
Completing projects
Maintaining and managing documentation
Communicating with your team and management
EXPERIENCE
Candidates would ideally have experience within a FMCG or heavy industrial environment.
