The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:
The successful candidates will work in a fully automated site, operating predominantly on Siemens PLCs, but the site also has Fanuc and Allen Bradley PLCs. Each site is a high speed operation and relies on the engineers working closely as a team, by supporting each other and taking a professional and conscientious approach to work. The maintenance work on the site is challenging and will need both strong electrical diagnostic skills and mechanical reasoning. The company have a variety of shift patterns, including days, days/nights and nights. All work preferences can be accommodated!
Key Skills:
To succeed in this company you will need to be apprentice trained in electrical engineering and then have shown some evidence of having operated in the other discipline. Full initial and ongoing training is provided to build on this knowledge; indeed the company prides itself on the cross training and development work it undertakes. Due to the large number of engineers employed, we are also searching for the next level of Team Leaders and Engineering Managers, so if you are a Maintenance Engineer looking to advance your career this could be the next step.
