Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Our client offers a full range of pipeline products for the gas, water and electricity markets. A world leading manufacturer of fully automatic butt fusion machines, control boxes, PE pipe jointing tooling and electrofusion fittings, they are also one of the UKs leading distributors to the utility sector. They are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based in Chesterfield.
Reporting to the Maintenance and Setting Manager, as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out routine, scheduled, and reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs to all electrical services, systems and equipment.
To succeed as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you must be a time served electrician, experienced in fault finding techniques and installation work.
You will also need the following skills:
- Apprentice trained with industry recognised qualifications
- A flexible disposition and can-do attitude
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of working on motors, AC controls, PLC controls, pneumatics, lighting, emergency lighting, switchgear, star delta starters, hydraulics, power distribution
Basic hours of work are Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), although overtime is available.
