The Company :
A renowned Food Manufacturer who works closely with all major supermarkets are looking to expand their engineering team and are now looking for 2 Multi Skilled Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers.
The Opportunity:
To work for an international established company as a multi skilled maintenance engineer
The Job and responsibilities:
Multi skilled maintenance engineer {Electrical bias}
to maintain all production equipment and machinery both electrically and mechanically.
To maintain all service equipment and machinery both electrically and mechanically.
To carry out general and breakdown repairs to all site equipment and machinery.
To carry out project work when assigned.
To request new and replacement parts when required.
Must work to a high degree of safety and cleanliness.
To ensure that all documentation relating to any work carried out is filled in correctly and completed on time.
Must inform the Maintenance Manager of any training requirements.
Must communicate and co-operate with other Departments.
To maintain and implement the Planned Preventative Maintenance.
To ensure that all outside contractors are working to Company rules.
To identify areas that can be improved and implement such improvements.
Main skills and experience:
16th Edition
PLC fault finding
Minimum 4 years apprenticeship (multiskilling)
B/Tec level 4 Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Min)
City and Guilds Part 232 Parts 1 and 2.
H.N.C Electrical Engineering preferred
Basic Mechanical Skills.
Engineering Experience.
Must have experience in industrial machine maintenance.
Hydraulic Techniques.
Welding Techniques.
Fabricating Techniques.
Multiskillling Ability.
Shifts and Location:
Working on a 2 shift rota. Pension, 22 Days Holiday, Loyalty Bonus, Production Bonus, Staff Canteen, free Car Park
Candidates living in Wakefield, Normanton, Pontefract, Castleford, West Yorkshire would able to commutate to the position
