Maintenance Engineer/ Maintenance Electrician/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary and Location
£20,000 to £25,000-Telford
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a World renowned, ductile iron cast manufacturer. Predominately catering for the utilities market place, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, construction and housing sectors.
Role description
Your duties will involve providing a repair and maintenance service (including maintenance routines where applicable), covering the full range of machines on site to an acceptable level of proficiency; special purpose machines, CNC and robotics, presses, furnaces, and working on a range of PLC's (Allen Bradley and Siemens)- carrying out regular fault finding, diagnostics and repair.
The varied daily tasks will offer high levels of job satisfaction and the company will offer security as they own a substantial portion of the market share.
Required Experience
A time served electrical maintenance engineer or trained to City and Guilds level, you will have experience of working in a production environment, have an appreciation of hydraulics and pneumatics, with practical knowledge of Health and Safety relating to maintenance.
Benefits Package
Ongoing training provided to broaden industry knowledge. After a 6 month period, skills are assessed and gaps in technical ability are filled. Courses include PLCs training, 16 & 17th Edition.
