Electrical Functional Circuit Designer
Our Client is a leading aircraft manufacturer with the most modern and comprehensive product line on the market.
The jobholder is in charge to create the electrical functional design from the technical definition.
Major products of the design of Electrics are: Principal diagrams, wiring diagrams, topologies and net lists. The jobholder is responsible for assuring the realisation of the electrical functional design as directed by the Lead Engineer. This could be for any serial or new development aircraft.

Major products of the design of Electrics are: Principal diagrams, wiring diagrams, topologies and net lists. The jobholder is responsible for assuring the realisation of the electrical functional design as directed by the Lead Engineer. This could be for any serial or new development aircraft.
Task & Accountabilities:
To develop aircraft wiring design solutions for electrical systems and produced detailed wire data.
Produce and modify harness Topologies, Principle Diagrams and Wiring Diagrams to meet aircraft programme requirements.
Undertake impact evaluations of change requests.
Act in conjunction with the Lead Engineer as the design contact with the Systems Centre, other sites, partners and the Programme Team.
Manage the electrical functional interfaces and resolve technical issues between the wiring and systems installation.
Manage the dependencies between each team to ensure requirements are documented, understood and addressed.
Develop the harness topologies for the
Co-ordinate a small team of design engineers to complete the above design tasks to time and quality.
Other tasks will include configuration control of issued drawings, electrical database and net lists.
Skills and Experience
HNC/ONC/BTEC (or equivalent ) in Electrical Engineering
Strong Aeronautical or automotive experience
Experienced In Using Electrical CAD Wiring Systems
Sound Knowledge Of Electrical Design And Drawing Requirements
A Sound Understanding Of Configuration Control and release methods
Able to follow well defined engineering processes.
Able to work in cross-functional team environments.
Able to make basic technical decisions
