ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Electrical Engineers are now required to provide assistance to this plant in Swindon in trouble shooting during small and large equipment breakdowns. You will undertake equipment trouble investigation and analysis, route problem fault finding and appropriate countermeasure implementation. You will liaise with customers on a daily/weekly basis.
As Electrical Engineer you will also develop electrical specification for small projects including cost study. You will undertake electrical design of manufacturing equipment including software and hardware development. Furthermore you will coordinate the electrical assembly and commission new/modified equipment.
Successful candidates will need experience in a related industry. Experience of complex production equipment fault finding; PLC programming; hardware design / dwg modifications and the ability to carry out hands-on activity such as field wiring and control panel assembly are essential for this role. It would also be advantageous if you have experience of installation & commissioning of robotic cells / complex equipment; automotive manufacturing process knowledge and experience (Weld, Paint, Assembly Frame and Experience of safety systems (Pilz preferably).
Ideally you will be educated to degree/HNC level in a relevant engineering discipline and also have experience of generating reports and presentations and in CE Marking of equipment.
