They are now looking for an Electrical Engineer (service) to provide electrical engineering support to the service group covering system diagnosis, operation and design improvement, whilst ensuring compliance with quality and safety responsibilities on a complete range of installations from industrial data networks to 33kV high voltage power systems, including to Caterpillar and third party proprietary hardware and software.
Qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering, the Electrical Engineer should have experience of generation equipment, as well as diesel/gas engine control systems. Customer facing skills and a background in the implementation of safety culture are required, as is knowledge of management methods and experience of ISO QS systems.

Specific responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer will include the following:
Operational Planning: You will work in conjunction with the Service Manager, Supervisors and Project Delivery Team to provide smooth introduction of new equipment, techniques and processes. Examine forthcoming new legislation to ensure that service work continues to be carried out in a safe and environmentally responsible manner compliant with the latest requirements.
Operational Management: You will work to ensure that all electrical activities within the service department are carried out safely and in accordance with defined procedure, providing, publishing and generating awareness of new process as necessary.
Customer Expectation: You will manage both internal and external customer expectation with regard to maintaining the values that our client represents in the marketplace within appropriate budgets.
Environment, Health & Safety: You should ensure adherence to E,H&S processes and legislation, developing new processes as required (defined above).
Quality: To ensure continued compliance with the company ISO quality procedures in the pursuit of maintaining the companys ISO registration and improving audit performance.
