Electrical Engineering Manager / Senior electrical Engineer

My client a world leader in rolling and recycling, who have numerous international sites with close to 13000 employees throughout the globe and have a multibillion dollar turnover require an Engineering Manager to manage the electrical department of their large Site in South Wales

Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification will be a Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably a Chartered Engineer
- MUST have heavy industry experience to be considered
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the main purpose of the job will be:
-Responsibility for providing a professional engineering service to the Site and manufacturing Departments, ensuring the Company activities fully comply with statutory regulatory bodies, such as the health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and Factory Insurers.
-Responsible for ensuring the Sites Engineering Standards are maintained and updated, providing an advisory service for Maintenance and Capital Expenditure Projects.
-To manage and administer a highly specialized engineering team to support the manufacturing teams in the 3 engineering departments. Direct reports Engineers - 2 X Electrical Engineers, 5 X Specialist Technicians, 1 X Electrical Technicians; Indirect: Team Electrical Craft, Electrical Contractors
-Ensure resources and systems are developed to provide continuity and performance in support of the strategic improvement in asset O.E.E. and output growth, whilst ensuring department budgets are controlled and value for money achieved.
-Development of subordinates to enable individuals to deliver their full potential and maximize their performance, aligned to the business need.
