My client is the UKs largest renewable energy generator in the UK.
They now require an Electrical Engineering Manager.

Based:Northants (Extensive UK travel)

The Role
This role will see the Electrical Engineering Manager taking ultimate responsibility for the electrical systems behind 80 power stations that range from 330kW to 27MW. You should expect to work at the cutting edge of green technology and enjoy ongoing training throughout your career.
Responsibilities
•Lead a large team stationed in various UK locations, in the design, operation and maintenance of a variety of HV, MV, LV and electrical protection systems
•Be responsible for local and remote C&I, SCADA and data communications equipment
•Champion best practice to colleagues and external contractors
•Handle the teams development and training
Requirements
•An electrical engineering degree and ideally a masters in a relevant C&I subject (or equivalents)
•An impressive track record in the design, operation and maintenance of HV, MV, LV and electrical protection systems
You should be a confident, proven manager, ideally with knowledge of DSEAR regulations and experience of hazardous areas, e.g. waste, petrochemical or mining
