Established over 50 years ago, the company design and manufacture Printing Presses, Book Binding systems, Print Finishing equipment, Inserting & Wrapping lines and Mailroom systems for Newspaper production. They lead the field in the development of advanced technology to meet the needs of a fast changing market
Field Service Engineer: This is a excellent opportunity to join the worlds largest manufacturer of Print Finishing Systems.
The Role:
•This position is for a highly qualified Engineer with electro and electronic skills. The engineer is expected to work on a wide range of the Companies equipment and has to take responsibility and ownership over customer projects.
•This is a field-based role. You will normally travel to customer premises from your home location. However, you will also be required to attend the companies Limited offices whenever required by business needs.
This is a challenging role, with opportunity to become knowledgeable about and work with a wide range of the companies equipment.
The Candidate:
•You must have experience of working with Bus systems, Drive systems and state of the art PLC control systems (i.e. B&R, Lenze, Siemens etc.).
•It is essential that you combine solid engineering background with good business sense and are able to work under high pressure and constantly changing environment. Therefore we expect that you are qualified to HNC (or equivalent) level in electrical engineering.
•Excellent communication skills are an essential requirement with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels.
•We also expect strong computer skills including Ms Office, Ms Project and the Internet for standards/products/manufacturer.
•You must have a full driving license.
You will be working closely with manufacturers, customers and engineers in order to manage projects, so a suitable attitude and image are important. We also expect flexibility and therefore.
•You must be willing to work in a field based role, and therefore have a full driving license.
•You will be working on client sites, so a suitable attitude and image are important.
•You have to be available for out-of-town and international travel if necessary for the proper performance of these duties.
•Salary from £25,000 plus substantial overtime benefits. OTE £30,000+
•The successful candidate is paid "Door to Door"A company vehicle is provided, Pension Health and Holiday schemes included.
