A leading company who is recognised as a world class player in the Renewable Energy sector is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer due to its strong growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a challenging career in an innovative industry.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to Degree level in Electrical Engineering and qualifications such as a post graduate degree in power systems and Chartered Engineer status would be highly desirable. You will have experience of working in Power Systems Analysis on generation systems. Be conversant with distribution and transmission networks, network protection design and generation systems.Knowledge of Network Planning Standards and or Grid Code would be advantageous.
Job duties will involve taking a leading role in the provision of power systems analysis for the grid integration of Renewable Energy from <1MW up to and exceeding 1GW connected at the full range of voltage levels from 240V up to 400kV.
You will also be responsible for managing projects and ensuring they are completed on time and to budget. As part of the job you will be expected to undertake visits to customer and sites.
