Salary: £40000 - £48000 dependent on qualifications and relevant experience.

You will be qualified to HNC/HND Degree level education in Electrical Engineering or similar with exp on Electrical Design on utility projects with involvement in Major Projects from 11kv - 132kv.

Our client supplies design and engineering services within the utility sector covering all aspects of the regulation, generation, distribution and supply of electrical energy. They employ electrical utility engineers and managers with expertise in the design of electrical networks from low voltage to 132KV and project management of on-site delivery.
Electrical Engineer (HV Power Projects) - Design, Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, Substations, Transformers, Distribution, Transmission.

The Electrical Engineer (HV Power Projects) will review customers' requirements, existing networks and assets to enable outline design of new electrical requirements. The Electrical Engineer (HV Power Projects) will be involved in tender documentation preparation, tender review and selection, project management of the installation and liaison with Civil, Protection and CAD Engineers.

The role will cover clients' assets, upgrades (e.g. large substations) and new business.

The Electrical Engineer (HV Power Projects) will be qualified to HNC/HND Degree level education in Electrical Engineering or similar and will have completed an Apprenticeship with a Regulated Electricity Company or OEM. You will have worked on Electrical Design on utility projects with involvement in Major Projects from 11kv - 132kv including:

Project Management experience or involvement.
Design Experience.
Experience of working with Electrical Contractors.
Experience of managing a number of projects at any one time.

You will be proficient in Word & Excel. CAD experience would be an advantage.

You may currently be working as an Electrical Engineer for a Utility Company or a Service Provider, such as a contractor, consultant or OEM.

Our client offers a competitive salary, £40 - 48,000 per annum dependent upon qualifications and experience, contributory pension etc.
