Our client designs, develops and manufactures advanced marine fluid handling systems for application on ships and offshore oil and gas facilities, specialising in innovative and bespoke designs for marine gas handling, pumping and water systems.
Electrical Engineer (Wastewater Treatment Systems) - Power Circuits, Control Circuits, Control Systems, Design Engineer, Electrical Design, AutoCAD.
The Electrical Engineer will provide support to the design team in the detailed design of electrical and control systems for wastewater treatment systems.
The Electrical Engineer role will design electrical power (3-phase) and control circuits including the selection of components in accordance with company standards, including the production, approval and storage of design documentation in accordance with company standards including the creation of AutoCAD LT drawings of circuit diagrams, installation wiring diagrams, panel layouts, legend plates and labels. The role will also include creating and/or modifying parts lists, panel and test specifications, operating and maintenance manuals.
Skills and Experience
The Electrical Engineer will be qualified to Diploma or Certificate level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with good experience in the design and documentation of power and control circuits, using AutoCAD. Practical knowledge of control system build, wiring and testing is essential.
Some experience and knowledge of PLC's is highly desirable.
Previous experience of engineering in the marine environment or of fluid handling systems is desirable but not essential.
