An Electrical Field Engineering Specialist is required by Assystem UK who are Master Vendors to a Global Vehicle manufacturer. This Permanent opportunity based in France is for an Electrical Field Engineering Specialist to work in the clients European Quality Organisation to investigate market quality concerns in order to provide technical cause information to the Clients internal engineering departments and Manufacturing Plants for warranty cost reduction and customer satisfaction.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
An Electrical Field Engineering Specialist is required to keep warranty cost reduction and to achieve quality targets.
To define customers' concerns through customer interview and/or vehicle investigation
To identify root cause of electrical parts concern by incident parts investigation.
Background & Experience
Ideally Electrical system development (design or test) experience
Body parts development (design or test) experiences in car maker or Service mechanic experience at car dealer.
Electrical Engineering Specialist with good communication and interpersonal skills for working in cross-functional teams, internal reporting at all levels, negotiating with key suppliers and managing technical support staff.
Electrical engineer will be self motivated with proven ability in the application of problem solving skills for root cause analysis and concern resolution.
Capable team worker
Working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel & Project is essential.
A second European language would be an advantage.
Minimum Education Required
Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
