Job requirements
The successful applicant will:
- Define Electrical system architectures.
- Define system requirements and develop supporting documentation.
- Act as system integrator
- Liaise with customers and suppliers.
- Provide practical problem solving support to prototype vehicle builds.
Details
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven track record of vehicle electrical design
- Experience of automotive systems and systems integration
- Combination of practical, hands on skill with good theoretical knowledge
- Knowledge of automotive processes and practical problem solving experience
- Understanding of and experience of CAN
Preferably the candidate will:
- Have knowledge of electric vehicles and high voltage systems
- Have knowledge of J1939 CAN standards
- Have knowledge of commercial vehicle electrical architectures
- Have knowledge of military vehicle electrical architectures
