Our client is the UK arm of a major engineering corporation; their focus is on the design and installation of packaging machinery to a wide variety of industry sectors.
In line with growth and development plans they are now looking to recruit an experienced electrical design engineer to assist with machinery specifications, design and control systems specifications and programming.

In line with growth and development plans they are now looking to recruit an experienced electrical design engineer to assist with machinery specifications, design and control systems specifications and programming.
Ideally the right candidate will possess a formal qualification in an electrical discipline and have industry experience gained in a similar design position.
Responsibilities include the design and detailing of electrical power and control circuits for packing lines and special purpose machinery using AutoCAD whilst adhering to agreed manufacturing and delivery deadlines
On certain projects you will also be required to produce electrical or control system designs including PLC programming, HMIs and Servo drive integration.
When required instruct and manage contractors to assist with Electrical / Software design.
This role will require strong communicators able to liaise with clients and offer relevant technical support and applications assistance. Some occasional travel will be required so flexible engineers are essential.
