Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of slitter rewinders for plastic films, paper, foil and labelstock. They currently require an Electrical Design Engineer for the design and development of electrical systems to high specifications for their machines.
Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of slitter rewinders for plastic films, paper, foil and labelstock. They currently require an Electrical Design Engineer for the design and development of electrical systems to high specifications for their machines, focusing on:

The Design Engineer will be involved in projects from the design concept through to implementation, acceptance testing and handover.
Within the projects, the Design Engineer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, not only with engineers from other specialisations, but also with marketing and sales staff, technicians and customer service personnel.
The engineer will need technical knowledge mainly on PLC (if possible Siemens), high dynamic drives and all components involved in their machines. It is essential that you have a strong design appreciation, a good knowledge of health and safety procedures, planning experience and able to work within financial constraints and timescales.
In return my client offers a basic salary in the range of £25,000 to £33,000 (depending on experience), non contributory pension scheme, health insurance, paid overtime (if at lower end of salary scale) and 23 days holiday + statutory bank holidays (rises with service).
