Our client specilaises in the design and manufacture of control systems for a wide ranging customer base in the food and process manufacturing sector. The range of services offered, is an indication of their committed approach to being a key partner to their customers. From initial design through to the manufacturing and commissioning stages, they provide a professional and focused service.

Due to increased orders they are looking to recruit an additional engineer to work within the design and projects team. This a project support role, working with customers from their initial enquiry and helping develop the client needs into a working design. Design of MCCs and control panels using AutoCAD, liaising closely with the design team. You will then be involved with managing the design through to the physical product (working closely with the Project/Commissioning engineers). Heavily involved with final test before product leaves site. This is a project support role but does involve an element of hands on practical experience.

Applicants will need a good understanding of electrical systems and controls relating to production machinery. Control panel design is imperative and experience of motion control is highly desirable.

This role could well be ideal for a service engineer wanting to progress to an office based role with less travel or even a maintenance engineer looking to get more involved with clients and project engineering.

Working regular days, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
