My client is a specialist in electrical engineering and control systems for the cement and quarrying industries. They are based in Buxton, Derbyshire, close to the one of the main areas of mineral quarrying and processing in the UK.
My client is currently recruiting an Electrical/Control Project Engineer with key competencies within Electrical Installation & Design. Working to tight deadlines you will be supplying Site Support, Modification and Commissioning.
The role will include:
- electrical design work (to include use of AutoCad as required).
- design of industrial control and automation
- PLC or Scada programming
- site installation
- costings/estimating.
- reporting both verbal and written
- technical resolution
Ideally :
- Qualified to HNC or equivalent.
- heavy engineering background preferred quarrying experience a bonus
- AutoCad and Microsoft applications
- Project Leadership Skills
- Organisational Skills
- Programmable Control Systems knowledge (PLC & Scada Systems)
