Our client is a market leading supplier of fully automated materials handling systems; right now due to internal promotion they currently require an Electrical Control & PLC Support Engineers to be based at their offices in Milton Keynes.
Our client is a market leading supplier of fully automated materials handling systems; right now due to internal promotion they currently require an Electrical Control & PLC Support Engineers to be based at their offices in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidates will be responsible for effective technical support for internal and external customers; monitoring of issues, trends and initialising action plans; manage and own problems through resolution and ensure that documentation and training modules reflect the current technology used.
It is essential that you have an excellent telephone manner with PLC programming skills and a working knowledge of Frequency inverters, LV & HV systems, Barcode Identification Systems, HMIs, and ideally have derived from a Software & Control System Design / Modifications role.
This role will require travel, throughout the UK and Europe (60% office based, 40% travel). In return my client offers a basic salary of £33k-£35k, company pension scheme, company car and 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays.
