Description
EMC Validation Engineer
As part of the Central Electrical Engineering team the candidate shall carry out EMC and electrical test activities in support to the project system teams within various business units.

As part of the Central Electrical Engineering team the candidate shall carry out EMC and electrical test activities in support to the project system teams within various business units.
Role requirements include:
Involvement in set up and maintenance of EMC test facility
Interface with the system teams and possibly with end user (e.g. ESA, BNSC).
Review, and where necessary write, test plans and procedures
Perform electrical test activities, which primarily include EMC validation of equipments and subsystems.
Where necessary, support equipment, subsystem, and satellite level EMC testing off site.
Write test reports
Follow up of new EMC test technologies and techniques
Participate in R&D activities
Qualifications and/or Skills
HND /HNC Electronics
The successful candidate will like to work in a transnational team and be open minded with a pro-active attitude, beservice orientated and have a good practical electrical engineering background.
A practical EMC test background is an essential requirement and familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and 462 would be an advantage, together with EMC and PIM analysis experience.
