ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENT (E&I) ENGINEER
ASTEC Oil & Gas is a provider of specialist engineering, safety, environmental and quality assurance consultancy and contractor services in the oil and gas, petrochemical and marine sectors. We specialise in placing highly qualified and experienced professional Consultants, Associates, Technical Safety Engineers, Project Managers, HSE Advisors and Quality Assurance Advisors with blue chip clients. Our clients include operators, engineering prime contractors, support and services companies and engineering consultancies. Their combined expertise is leveraged throughout the wider energy market through access to best practices.
We currently require an ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENT (E&I) to provide both onshore and offshore E&I systems support for our Southern North Sea clients.
Job typically entails:
Ensuring all equipment within hazardous ares in accordance with relevant sections of BS EN 60079.
Safety Audits of LV and HV switching.
Coordination and implementation of planned and corrective E&I and control equipment maintenance.
Ensuring installation integrity in terms of E&I and control equipment.
Required Skills/Experience
Extensive E&I and Control System experience.
Timely delivery of work schedules.
Awareness and compliance with relevant Legislation, Safety Case and Safety Management Systems
Exposure to Maintenance Management Systems such as MAXIMO
Good communication and organisational skills
Power generation
Required Qualifications
Relevant HND/Degree in E&I
Professional Membership (e.g IEE)
