Description
Our client is looking for an experienced environmental professional to manage their Croydon based EIA and Audit Team. This is a growth area within the Environmental business stream and requires an all-round manager in terms of technical competence, management ability and overall commitment.
As team leader he/she will be required to manage resources to undertake EIA projects both here in the UK and as necessary overseas. Clients will include local authorities, public sector companies and foreign institutions. EIAs will cover a variety of projects including those relating to linear development. A further source of work will be that generated by other divisions within the group requiring an EIA input.
Candidate specification:
Candidates must have spent a significant period successfully managing EIA projects in a wide variety of applications. Some experience of linear development and some overseas exposure would be beneficial. It is likely that in terms of experience the successful candidate will not be limited to one particular sector but will have been employed in an appropriate capacity by both private and public sector organizations.
Although candidates should be adequately qualified it is essential that they are recognized as an expert within the EIA field. They must also possess the necessary initiative and drive to manage and motivate a successful team and be able to interface with clients in areas such as project presentation and business development. Experience of team management would be helpful.
