Description
Parkhouse Professional are working with their client a world leader in industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems. The successful candidate will adopt a professional and responsive approach to their work, to gain credibility through integrity, technical knowledge and personality. Qualified to degree level in Electrical/Instrumentation or Process Control and have extensive Oil & Gas control & instrumentation design and engineering experience.
As The E&I Lead Engineer your role will be to act as technical authority and quality reviewer, for E&I systems, survey and report On & Offshore E&I Installation sites, to consult, advise and propose E&I solutions including upgrade feasibility and to deliver results to customers whist developing key relationships.
Key Accountabilities
•Prepare and maintain E&I Standards and create solutions library
•Design Review in collaboration with Project Manager
•To produce cost effective (and as appropriate re-useable) designs and solutions.
•To lead and supervise the E&I design team, including planning competent resource allocation to support Project Management within budget constraints
•Assist Sales Support with the production of technically and commercially acceptable proposals, tender documents and bid submissions.
•Assist Sales Support with technical representation for customer interface.
The client has expressed that candidates must have significant Offshore process control knowledge, coupled with first hand offshore engineering or maintenance operations experience. Further to this candidates should have an understanding of operating in an MIV environment, with a minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position across either of the following industries; Oil, Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Power generation and Nuclear and Knowledge of ISO 9001, Health & Safety at Work, IEC61511/61508 policies.
