Description
Duty Controller
A Position has arisen for a Duty Controller to join our highly recognized and successful company.
Our business is purely based in the development and installation of PRT systems (Personal Rapid Transport systems) in London.
The Duty Controller will have to ensure that a safe and excellent service is provided on a shift basis, by ensuring that the system operates to the highest standards.
The Duty Controller main responsibilities will involve:
- Day to day operation of the service
- Produce performance statistics
- Management of incidents and incident investigation
- Liaise with key interested parties
- Coordinate emergency planning
-Provide the safe and efficient day to day operation of the PRT service
-Produce performance statistics
-Management of response to incidents including management of incidents
-Provide Incident Investigation
-Effective rostering of shift staff
-Liaise with BAA and Key Interested Parties
-Co-ordinate with other Duty Controllers
-Co-ordinate emergency planning
-Ensuring that employees, contractors and visitors are aware of safety procedures and any relevant legislation
Only using equipment, plant and substances that are suitable for the task
-Ensuring adequate training, information and instruction have been received and providing supervision to ensure that work is conducted safely
To be considered for this Duty Controller opportunity your CV will need to display the following profile:
- Significant and relevant experience in transport operations
- Proven ability to motivate and communicate with a highly skilled team
- Educated to ONC level standard or above
Due to the industry and the nature of the role, experience in a control room environment is necessary.
