The Role
With more successful bids and contract awards, we have a number of positions available throughout the London area for Service Engineers, Maintenance Engineers and Technicians. The roles will involve scheduled maintenance and breakdown repair of rail vehicles that have a diverse range of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Training programmes will be very comprehensive and allow candidates to really develop and hone your skills. The role will involve shift working.
The Applicant
Applicants for this position do not need to have a background in the rail industry but do need in depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and have the ability to fault find and repair these systems. Candidates may have experience working on aircraft (avionics), trains, marine or special purpose machinery systems. Experience within the RAF, Navy or a similar safety critical environment would be beneficial.
