An excellent opportunity exists to join this industry leading engineering business; they are highly regarded within the automation and controls industry and have applied their products to a wide variety of engineering projects spanning a number of industrial sectors.
Due to consistent growth they now require and additional Drive systems test engineer to work within their quality control department.
The core duties will be to conduct product testing on various drive systems as well as develop new testing methods. Experience of 230V/400V AC Drives products and associated Field Communications Systems e.g. Profibus, ProfiNet, CAN, Asi and DeviceNet would be advantageous.
It is essential that the right engineer possesses a working knowledge of volume electronic manufacturing testing practices including PCB ICT Power Systems and Switchgear Technology.
Knowledge of system test solutions with particular emphasis on reliability / lifetime testing would be ideal.
The right candidate will possess a formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, be flexible to travel internationally and be a strong communicator both written and verbal.
In return my client offers an excellent basic salary, flexible hours (36.25), healthcare, 26 days annual leave and a private pension scheme.
