This specialist company designs, develops and manufactures a wide range of general purpose and high performance AC Inverter drives and provides an integration service into system applications for various industrial markets worldwide.
Since its conception, this company have been a pioneer in the use of variable speed drives in new and challenging projects, in many positioning applications such as Roll Feeds, Flying Cut-Offs, Rotary Cut-Offs, Web Processing and Metal Press Automation, plus power performance applications such as Engine and Transmission Test Stands. They have applied performance servo drive controls to machinery that previously relied on mechanical or hydraulic solutions for motion control.
Due to new projects an urgent requirement exists for a flexible Service/Commissioning Engineer. The successful candidate will have an understanding of PLC software, having the ability to fault find and re-program. Be familiar with drives and motors having experience of performance optimisation understanding torque, calibration and tuning of vector drives.
Duties will be a mix of breakdown repairs to new installation commissioning, UK and worldwide China, Japan, Australia etc.
