Due to increased orders an opportunity has arisen within the smart offices of this progressive electro-mechanical design, development and manufacturing organisation. The position will either suit an experienced technical administrator with strong database experience or an ambitious individual looking for an entry level position into a design / drawing office environment.

Technical administrative opportunity with room to progress within leading edge design office.
Due to increased orders an opportunity has arisen within the smart offices of this progressive electro-mechanical design, development and manufacturing organisation. The position will either suit an experienced technical administrator with strong database experience or an ambitious individual looking for an entry level position into a design / drawing office environment.
The products the organisation produce operate at the fore-front of technology so you will gain exposure of leading edge design.
The role will initially involve undertaking Engineering Changes and generally supporting the design office in a technical administration capacity but it is envisaged that the right individual will be able to take on more responsibility and grow the role.
The ability to read engineering drawings and use CAD packages, ideally AutoCAD (although other packages considered), is essential. Good keyboard and database skills (Excel, Access etc) coupled with excellent communication skills required.
Likely to suit apprentice trained / HNC + engineer looking to develop into a more design oriented role. The position will initially support the design office but there is considerable scope for the right individual to progress into a design role.
Likely to suit individuals with a background as: Technical Administrator, Engineering Administrator, CAD administrator, Drawing Office administrator, DO Support, CAD Technician, Junior CAD Engineer, Junior Design Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar
