As a CAD Draughtsman, your role will be to prepare technical drawings and data for the manufacture and procurement of steam turbines, reciprocating gas compressors and associated equipment. Your responsibilities will include: preparation of general assembly, process and instrumentation diagrams and design layouts for new or existing projects or proposals according to instructions from Design/Development Engineers or Project Managers.
You will need to have:
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical engineering, time served apprenticeship
- 3D CAD design expertise Unigraphics NX software
- Design experience of high value capital equipment medium to heavy industrial
- Specific experience in the design of castings, fabrications and equipment
- Strong team player and able to work on own initiative
