Draughtsman
Cirencester, Gloucestershire
£20K + PRP + Final Salary Pension
Our Client designs, manufactures and supplies pumps all over the world to a variety of vertical markets. They offer one of the most extensive ranges available from a single manufacturer and are continually investing in new plant and equipment, to provide a very well engineered product at the most competitive price. An exciting new role exists for an AutoCAD technician to work at their Head Office in Cirencester.
THE ROLE
Your main responsibilities will include producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings of components and assemblies with all necessary parts lists and operating instructions to BS engineering standards. Other duties will include; providing technical information to all departments within the company, producing instruction of care and maintenance, assisting in the training of other draughtsmen and providing technical support to internal and external customers.
ABOUT YOU
You will have an excellent technical background with a minimum of an HNC qualification in a related discipline. You will be familiar with the latest versions of 2D & 3D AutoCAD software or similar design programs and an understanding of pumps equipment would be beneficial, but is not essential. As this position provides interface with customers and other departments, you must have excellent communication and time management skills.
