Leading provider of infrastructure services is urgently seeking to employ a Health & Safety Manager for a new long-term contract for the upgrade and maintenance of a utilities network across the South and South East.
Leading provider of infrastructure services is urgently seeking to employ a Health & Safety Manager for a new long-term contract for the upgrade and maintenance of a utilities network across the South and South East.
In order to apply, you will be a Member of IOSH. It is also crucial that you have safety project management experience, and that you are able to demonstrate occasions where you have worked on major utilities / telecomms / building projects.
This is a project based position that will involve interfacing at corporate level, so it is important that you are a professional individual with experience of liaising both on site and with the client. This project will be covering several major multi-million pound ventures so you will also have excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
You will also be able to demonstrate knowledge of current health and safety legislation and how to implement this on major infrastructure projects, whilst leading audits and inspections and reporting on your findings. It is also important that you have experience of managing a team of remote advisers on large projects.
