Parkhouse Professional are working with their client a world leader in industrial automation and control, test and measurement, information systems. The successful candidate will be qualified at degree level in either Electrical Engineering, Computing or Process Control who is a confident and assertive individual, has the ability to work on own initiative and has a minimum of 2 years batch process control engineering experience.
As the DCS Lead Engineer your role will be to provide technical and organisational lead to a team of Engineers working on DCS Projects. This will involve supplying progress reports to the project manager, and to provide support to the customer on all aspects of the DCS design and implementation.
Key Accountabilities
•To guide a team of Project Engineers under the direction of the Team Leader
•To provide progress information to the Project Manager
•Work to the requirements of the users specifications and the company work instructions & procedures
•To produce all required documentation
The client has expressed that candidates must have at least 5 years DCS configuration in process control systems, proficient in a high level object based computer language e.g. Visual Basic, C++, and be familiar with CS3000 batch and SEBOL programming language. The role is based in our clients Cheshire Office; however onsite travel to Hull will be required.
