Die Maker / CNC Machinist required for permanent position in Rotherham area
To work as a member of the die shop team providing support in the manufacturing of die tooling .
Candidates should have the following skils
CNC Machinist Engineer. (3 axis Milling, Wire EDM & EDM Die Sinker.)
Welding (Tig).
Conventional machining
Understanding of G & M codes (machine language) CAD/CAM experience
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings Working knowledge of CNC machines/wire EDM and EDM die sinker
Duties :-
Operate CNC machines, working from drawings Manufacture and supervise the die making Optimise CNC machine productivity/quality Assemble dies and inspect Repair die tooling if required
Maintain min/max system for machine tooling and die parts
Perform basic PM/TPM on die making equipment Trouble shooting
Calibration/servicing of equipment
Maintaining 5S standards
Working 3 rotating shifts
