We are looking for a manager to run a small team of prototype build and test engineers, working on Drive Systems within the marine market. You need to have an Electronic Control Systems background and ideally some experience in the Automotive industry.
Job responsibilities:-
- For all Quality standards within the development team
- For Documentation of all work carried out by the team
-To build and install prototype electronic control systems and associated drives to agreed schedules and to report on problems encountered and on potential improvements.
-To repair and maintain prototype and other drives as well as the craft to which they are fitted - in line with test and demonstration requirements.
-To project and man manage a team of development engineers, acting as the technical lead and mentor. The will be no budgetary responsibility.
Experience:-
- Must have experience of Control Systems - ideally from the Automotive market
- Management of a small team of engineers
- MS Office tools including some for Data logging
