Development Engineer - Windows Device Driver Software
The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a multithreaded real time environment on Windows platforms.
Main responsibilities with be developing product device drivers and supporting third party applications.
Required experience:
C++ development using Microsoft visual studio 2003/2005, developing for MS Windows operating systems including XP and older versions.
Windows device driver development for XP, NT, Win2000 and 98SE.
Device specific DLLs and Kernel level system drivers (VXD, WDM).
Win32 API programming.
Knowledge of some of the following MatLab,VB,Excel VBA,LabView and AgilentVEE.
Useful experience:
Interfacing to hardware products via USB.
Assembler for speed critical functions.
Firmware development for 8051 microcontrollers.
C#.NET experience.
Win64 API and WDF knowledge (for the new Vista? operating system).
Please note: Our Client is not looking for experience in Web design, Databases, Embedded software (RTOS), Networking, Linux or Java for this role.
